## Creating Pages

### Scaffold a new page with initial version

```bash
mix brix.gen.page contact
mix brix.gen.page projects/my-app --title "My App"
mix brix.gen.page landing --no-publish --layout marketing
```

#### What gets created

pages/{slug}/
  page.yml
  versions/{timestamp}/
    version.yml
    sections/
```

#### Options

```
--title TITLE       Page title (default: titleized slug)
--layout NAME       Layout reference
--no-publish        Omit published_version from page.yml
--content-dir PATH  Content directory (default: priv/content)

## Adding Sections

### Add a section to a page version

#### Basic usage

```bash
# Add a hero section (auto-positioned)
mix brix.gen.section home hero

# Specify position
mix brix.gen.section home cta --position 10

# Hyphens are normalized to underscores
mix brix.gen.section home reviews-section
```

#### Nested children

```bash
# Add a child to a parent section
mix brix.gen.section home testimonial_card \
  --parent 05-reviews-section

# Specify the children field name
mix brix.gen.section home slide \
  --parent 02-gallery --field slides
```

Child templates are validated against the parent's `of:` constraint.

#### Options

```
--version VER       Target version (default: latest)
--position NN       Section position (default: auto)
--parent SECTION    Parent section file for nesting
--field FIELD       Children field name (default: children)
--content-dir PATH  Content directory (default: priv/content)
```

## Creating Versions

### Create a new version of a page

#### Basic usage

```bash
# Empty new version
mix brix.gen.version home

# Copy sections from published version
mix brix.gen.version home --copy

# Copy and publish immediately
mix brix.gen.version home --copy --publish

# Copy from a specific version
mix brix.gen.version home --copy \
  --from 20260101T000000Z
```

#### Options

```
--copy              Copy sections from source version
--from VER          Source version to copy (default: published)
--publish           Update page.yml published_version
--content-dir PATH  Content directory (default: priv/content)
```

## Validation

### Validate content directory

```bash
mix brix.validate
mix brix.validate path/to/content
```

## Common Workflows

### Create a page end-to-end

#### New page with content

```bash
# 1. Create the page
mix brix.gen.page services --title "Our Services"

# 2. Add sections
mix brix.gen.section services hero
mix brix.gen.section services reviews_section

# 3. Add children
mix brix.gen.section services testimonial_card \

# 4. Validate
mix brix.validate

#### New version of existing page

# 1. Create version copying current content
mix brix.gen.version home --copy

# 2. Edit sections in the new version directory

# 3. Publish when ready
